Research from Plymouth University has found that close to 700 species of marine life are facing extinction due to increase on plastic pollution. One million sea birds and 1.1 million marine mammals are killed annually from plastic waste in our oceans. 90% of all birds and fish are believed to have plastic particles in their stomach. It takes up to 1,000 years for every single bottle of water to decompose. Each bottle leaks harmful chemicals into our environment along the way as it decomposes
